Skills & Fit

Ages: 12-18 years old

ASPIRE Program Pathway: Introduction to Development to Advantage – See ASPIRE Program Pathway

Pre-Requisites: None. All Skill Levels Welcome

Drills, Skills and Fitness!
 

Great for that smooth transition outdoors to stay in condition, sharpen reaction, and communication along with training major offensive/defensive skills. These sessions will encourage you to become a well-rounded athletes who can serve, hit, dig and block. Sessions will help with:

  • agility and confidence, reaction speed, vertical power, strength and stability, conditioning, strategy, mental toughness and game-play (if permitted)
  • 45-60min of skill instruction and refinements
  • 30-45min of on-court fitness training (mostly body weight and conditioning and agility)

Training Prep

Ages: 12-18 years old

ASPIRE Program Pathway: Development-Intermediate to Advantage – See ASPIRE Program Pathway

Prerequisites: Must have fundamentals for Volleyball (Indoor school/club)

Beach Training will help athletes stay in peak physical, mental game play condition and learn  and improve specific beach skills along with the rules of the game.  These sessions will encourage you to become a well-rounded athletes who can serve, hit, dig and block. Sessions will help with:

  • agility and confidence, reaction speed, vertical power, strength and stability, conditioning, strategy, mental toughness and game-play (if permitted)
  • skill instruction and refinements
  • 15-20min of plyometrics, speed and strength training and cardio intervals

advantage training

Ages: 14-18 years old

ASPIRE Program Pathway: Performance Intro to Advantage – See ASPIRE Program Pathway

Prerequisites: Must have very consistent to high levels of fundamental technical ability and Volleyball IQ

High Intensity Beach Specific training for those athletes looking to compete in tournaments and leagues. Athletes will be expected to train 2-3x a week and adopt the Beach Volleyball Lifestyle. Beach blast (Skills & play)

Ages: 12-18 years old

ASPIRE Program Pathway: Development-Intermediate to Advantage – See ASPIRE Program Pathway

Prerequisites: Must have fundamentals for Volleyball (Indoor school/club)

Skills & Play will help athletes stay in peak physical, mental
game play condition and learn  and improve specific beach skills along
with the rules of the game.  These sessions will encourage you to become
a well-rounded athletes who can serve, hit, dig and block. Sessions
will help with:

  • 2v2, 4v4 and 6v6 games plus modified game play (if restrictions allow)
  • agility and confidence, reaction speed, vertical power, strength and
    stability, conditioning, strategy, mental toughness and game-play (if
    permitted)
  • skill instruction and refinements
  • 15-20min of plyometrics, speed and strength training and cardio intervals

League Play

Ages: 11-18 years old

ASPIRE Program Pathway:(Development – Intermediate to Advantage) – See ASPIRE Program Pathway

Pre-Requisites: Prior enrollment in Training Prep sessions or Skills & Fit  or Advantage Sessions (Indoor school/club)

Open 2’s  for athletes who have been working hard all summer to train and put their practice to competition:

  • Sign up as a TEAM (no individuals) – co-ed, male or female
  • 6 weeks of game play between 4:00-8:00pm – schedule will be updated one day prior to play for location and time
  • teams will be tiered by age/skill
  • 2 matches each evening between 4:00-8:00pm
  • coaches will be present for 2 out of 6 weeks to observe and provide feedback
  • teams can book coaches for game play and skill analysis if preferred for additional cost
