  1. ✓ Training curriculum planned and led by Dr. Lorne Sawula along with Aspire Staff Coaches and guests. Please check our “Coaches” webpage for bios of our coaching staff. Their expertise is second to none.

  2. ✓ Volleyball Skill Based Training each Day
  1. Athletes will learn to master volleyball fundamentals and will be taught position specific skill development/refinement techniques in small group settings. Each athlete will be evaluated and corrected for proper mechanics. Personal evaluations will be made throughout all skill based training.

  2. ✓ Game Play Training each Day
ASPIRE’s philosophy is to “learn volleyball by getting inside the game”. This means that our training objective is to link newly taught or refined position specific skills to game play. This training approach allows athletes to get the edge on learning the sport of volleyball and to experience skill success within game play. Personal evaluations will be made during game play.

  3. ✓ Physical Testing and Physical Training
Athletes will be tested physically by tests utilized by Dr. Sawula over the past 10 years. Athletes will be compared to other athletes that have attended our past camps. Planning and execution instruction for tubing exercises will be provided to all athletes. Athletes are asked to bring a ‘Swiss Ball’ to learn more physical core strength training exercises.

  4. ✓ Information for the Complete Athlete

Athletes will be taught about: elite athlete health and nutrition
